HAPPRUN F5: Upgraded Mirroring Projector

This projector is simply the easiest and highest quality one that I've used. It comes pre-loaded with Netflix and Amazon Prime, but I mainly use Netflix. The navigation through the UI is amazing, and almost twice as fast as the TV I have in my living room. No need for an external Chromecast or anything like that, as it's actually more responsive than the Chromecasts I have. Setting it up is a breeze too, because it can basically auto adjust everything on its own, including the focus, distance, and can even automatically pinpoint the most optimal spot to project. You can obviously manually adjust it, and I wasn't even able to use all 300" it's rated for. Even at 200", it's way too big, and the colors and resolution were amazing. I have this in my dorm room right now and it's slim enough to fit in the cuddy above my closet, as you can see in the photo below. The speakers are also great too, and with Dolby built in they get super loud while maintaining quality. It's also not as loud as other projectors I've used, which is a big plus. I was in the market for a projector so that I can flexibly change the layout of my apartment and watch movies, without risking moving a large, heavy tv, or wall mounting it only to change it later and leave holes in the walls. This project did just that! Even with lights on, the display is very bright. Autofocus feature is very convenient, and so is the image flipping or warping incase you have the projector at abnormal angles. Pre installed apps like YouTube, plex, and Netflix. The built in speakers are loud and can be heard across the living room, other speakers can be connected via Bluetooth. The projector is fairly hefty, 1080p resolution, and comes with a remote. Without the remote there are no manual controls. I believe it needed 2x AA batteries, though. The fan can get fairly hot. Remember that it is projecting a display onto a wall. My walls in the picture are textured, so the image can only look as clear as how smooth the surface is. 2x hdmi ports, 1x 3.5mm jack, and 1x usbA. Color is good and overall works out great!

First of all the projector came in an open box. Amazon is up to something, but as far as the projector goes, it is a wonderful projector for this price range. The picture quality is good and 2500 lumens definitely helps in not so dark room. The contrast is great. What's stands out is the autofocus feature.It is very convenient, and so is the image flipping or warping incase you have the projector at abnormal angles. Sound quality is also good. Has inbuilt youtube Netflix apps which is very convenient. Overall a very good product.

This is the single worst projector I've ever used. The screen is incredibly finicky. It proudly advertises Netflix...but you're not able to stream Disney, Hulu, MGM, HBO or any other streaming device because of copyright issues. The connection to phone is incredibly buggy (for both iPhone & Android). It shuts down repeatedly & can't handle the connection on phones, while also completely rendering your phone useless. It repeatedly forgets the wifi password & requires a complete reset to reconnect. God forbid you have obstacle recognition on because you can kiss goodbye your chances of ever being able to get back into settings again. The entire device is an absolute piece of junk. We have 4 projectors; 1 in 3 of the bedrooms & 1 to be used outside for movie nights. This one was for the living room & was a quick return.

This is by far the best projector I’ve used! I’ve been using it with my PS4, and the sound quality, picture quality and refresh rate are excellent. I even set one up in my bedroom, where lighting isn’t ideal during the day, yet it still performs really well. The casting and screen mirroring features make it super convenient to use with different devices. Plus, with built-in apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video, it functions just like a smart TV. The automatic keystone correction and focus adjustment work really well, making setup easy even when the projector isn’t perfectly aligned. Overall, it’s totally worth the money, great performance and features at this price point!

Even though projector is very bright and works well in lighter environments, I would not recommend it due to a misleading product title. The max this projector could do is 1080P even though it says it could do 4K all over the product page. I have tried it with different 4k inputs and all it could do is 1080P. Colors are also not very good. I did a comparison with an $229 ONOAYO projector and it was not showing a lot of the colors in darker scenes compared to it. Even though it looks nice, for not being a 4K projector and priced above $400, I am not able to recommend it. 2 people found this helpful Thanks, we'll investigate in the next few days.

Easy set up. Will technically mirror iphone but feed isn’t smooth (gets choppy) and can freeze up. HDMI to apple tv works. Device sound good. Bluetooth speakers paired easily. Daytime brightness could be better, can be washed out by light. Dusk/dark brightness is great. Crisp picture. Auto focus and keystone adjustment is fantastic! Overall good value & happy with purchase for price. Didn’t notice a way to add additional apps, but haven’t tried.

Honestly, this projector is way better than expected. Setup was super easy-it pretty much adjusted itself, and didn't even need to mess with focus or angle. The built-in apps run smoothly (Netflix works great). Picture quality is really sharp, even when made it huge, and the colors pop. The speakers are surprisingly loud for a projector and the fan isn't annoying like others I've tried. It's small enough to stash away when I'm not using it, but bright enough to use almost anywhere. For the price, this thing's a steal. We use it in the daytime too. The sound of the fans isn’t even that loud for how bright it gets. Amazing!
